SCAQMD Certification
The Sakura built systems are called, "F1 Clean" and their standard systems were so tight with "Near
Zero Emissions" that they obtained the certification in 1994 from the SCAQMD, South Coast Air
Quality Management District in Southern California. The F1 Clean is the only parts cleaning system
in the world certified by them for the use of trichloroethylene and methylene chloride because of its
extremely low emission levels.
The certification program allows the user to obtain the use permit from the SCAQMD in a couple of
weeks instead of up to 6 months
